In May 2026, H.E. Mr Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, addressed a letter to the Indo-French Sports Association recognising its role in strengthening people-to-people ties between France and India through sport.
The recognition reflects IFSA's growing institutional standing across both countries — from French municipalities and clubs to Indian federations and government bodies.
