What is IFSA?
Founded in 2022 in Paris, IFSA is a French-registered association that strengthens Indo-French sports cooperation through elite training, international tournaments, and institutional partnerships.
Who founded IFSA?
IFSA was founded by Rohit Sharma with a vision to create lasting institutional bridges between Indian and French sporting ecosystems.
Is IFSA a government organization?
No. IFSA is an independent association registered under French law (loi 1901). We work closely with government bodies, federations, and educational institutions in both India and France.

How can my child participate in the IFFT?
Registration for each IFFT edition opens several months before the tournament. Visit our Events page or Contact us for the latest registration information and eligibility criteria.
What sports does IFSA cover?
IFSA's programmes span Football (IFFT + OL Academy), Basketball (LNB Pro Transition), Athletics, Para sport, Cricket, Walking Football, and Sports Education — and the list keeps growing as new partnerships come on board.
Do I need prior experience to join?
Requirements vary by program. IFFT is open to youth teams of varying skill levels, while OL Academy training targets elite-level athletes. Walking Football is designed for all ages and abilities.
What is the LNB Pro Transition program?
A partnership with France's Ligue Nationale de Basket to integrate Indian basketball talent into Betclic ELITE and PRO B leagues, including technical exchanges and media rights.

What is IFSA's relationship with Olympique Lyonnais?

Yes. IFSA is developing a UNESCO-aligned sports diplomacy initiative that leverages sport as a vehicle for peace, inclusion, and cultural exchange.

Where are IFSA events held?
Events are held across both France and India. IFFT editions 1 and 2 were in Paris; the 3rd edition will be in India. Training camps are at Groupama Training Center, Lyon.
Is financial assistance available?
IFSA works to remove barriers to participation. Contact us to discuss scholarship and sponsorship options for eligible athletes.
